Camphor Burl-A rare burl that is highly prized. Unlike most highly figured burls camphor is very stable requiring very little special care in its conversion from large burls to cut blanks. Most burls are very delicate requiring years of knowledge and experience to carefully cut and season.

We personally travel to Indonesia to hand pick and inspect this special burl, we bring this back mainly in block form.

Rraging from 6x6x6" to 18x18x36" we remanufacture some of these blocks to solid body guitar tops for Luthier stock and turning blocks.

This species commonly known as cinnamon burl.
